Sunera Acquires Its First Healthcare Auditing Practice, Parses Inc.

Feb. 9, 2012 - PRLog -- Tampa, FL, February 9, 2012 – Sunera LLC, a leading provider of business and technology risk consulting services, acquired Parses Inc.’s healthcare auditing business, including the majority of its employees and all of its current clients.  Parses’ original founder, Dr. Dennis Mihale, joins Sunera as the Partner-in-charge of our healthcare auditing practice.

Dr. Mihale and his Tampa-based team, comprised of physicians and certified professional coders, are recognized experts in the fields of medical billing, claims auditing, and Medicare and Medicaid claims recovery.  “At Parses, we streamlined the audit process by reviewing large volumes of claims using automated auditing tools, data mining techniques, integrated workflows, and web-based technology, to deliver accurate, defensible, and cost-effective audits.” said Dr. Mihale, and he added, “We are a lot like Sunera, focused on technology and cost-effective auditing, however we bring deep healthcare experience to the services provided by Sunera.”
