Feb. 9, 2012 - PRLog -- This Spring Summer at Heal’s we have three new interior collections launching in-store and online; a range of zesty citrus tones in the trend With A Twist, a contemporary fusion of oriental design in Go East ( and a playful retro collection in Beside the Seaside.
Our main theme, With A Twist, is a refreshing mix of lemon and lime hued furniture and accessories which encapsulates a mood of vibrant optimism. Mixed with soft natural grey and wooden furniture this bright colour pairing creates a fresh and bold contemporary living space.
Key examples of the ‘With A Twist’ trend ( http://www.heals.co.uk/with-a-twist-trend/with-a-twist-trend/page/with_twist_trend ) include the Waldorf sofa and Waldorf armchair upholstered in Designers Guild Ombrione lime or lemongrass fabric, complemented by chic flocked accessories like the Natasha chandelier and Blenheim mirror (by Thomas & Vines) - and pulled together with Brink & Campman’s Mexx Shutter rug in lime/natural.
The second trend for the Spring season is Go East ( http://www.heals.co.uk/go-east-trend/go-east-trend/page/g... ). Drawing influence from and channelling the style and traditions of China and Japan the range of furniture and accessories represents modern oriental design. Harmonious and stylish, the clean lines and contrast in colour and texture offer elegant and workable interiors inspiration.
The focal point of the Go East Trend is the contemporary sofa, Shushi, designed exclusively for Heal’s. More of a 'seating-arrangement' than a traditional sofa, Shushi has an unusual footprint and features an interesting mix of angles. It’s perfect for an alcove, bay window or a smaller room where a corner suite would be too large and impractical. The name Shushi is Mandarin for comfort.
Beside the Seaside ( http://www.heals.co.uk/beside-the-seaside-trend/beside-th... ) is a home accessories trend that mixes sophisticated accents with playful retro nautical touches providing an update that combine cool blue tones and calming naturals, this trend is a shore thing. In the kitchen, invest in a trio of Contrast metal pendant lights in stone, soft white and blue to make an elegant colour statement. Then add teal, turquoise and petrol accessories like the Loveramics Tripod ceramics range for a truly sophisticated feel. With its gorgeous marble top, the Murano dining table forms the perfect foundation for this cool and understated look. The Whitby Print by Mini Moderns, that features on dining ceramics, wallpaper and textiles, tie this trend together.
These three interior trends can be seen online at www.heals.co.uk and in our six UK based stores.
