FOR ICON & JARED LANG DEBUT AT MAGIC SHOW IN LAS VEGAS 2012
LOS ANGELES, CA—February 8, 2012—International pop artist Nelson De La Nuez will be debuting his second collection for ICON at the MAGIC show at Platform in Las Vegas February 13-15, 2012. His designs include vibrant, sexy, nostalgic images including titles such as, "Femme Fatales," "Martini Hour," "Love Struck," and "Be Happy." His collection includes ICON's high end buttery leather products that are composed of footwear, handbags, watches, wallets, clutches, I Pad holders and a wide variety of leather accessories for men and women. His first collection has just hit stores this month and is being snatched up at a fast rate.
“Icon is thrilled to launch the next Nelson De La Nuez collection. We have enjoyed creating a "new" audience with his fun, edgy pop images," says Executive Vice President Carolyn Morris. ICON's use of bold color is printed on soft, supple highest-grade white leather to insure the artist's original visions.
De La Nuez will be making a personal appearance in the ICON Platform booth #61514 at the Las Vegas MAGIC show on February 13 from 4-5 pm. He will sign his popular "Material Girl" image on an exclusive poster as a free give away to those who stop by to see the ICON products.
His pop art is sold at galleries and auctions worldwide. The artist is known for his distinctive trademark style called, “Art on the Edge,” which is creating art on all sides of the canvas. The method has been incorporated into the designs for his ICON collection, by having fun vintage designs in unexpected places in the purses, wallets and shoes. "I am really looking forward to my second collection, after having seen how well the colors translate to the leather. I am also excited about creating a larger men's collection...have started with the wallets." says De La Nuez.

During the same 2/2012 MAGIC show, at PROJECT in Mandalay Bay, De La Nuez will also be debuting his next collection of button down shirts with designer Jared Lang in booth # 19010. They feature sexy pinups and martinis on French cuffs and facings.
