National branding expert to speak at Alliance Financial Group workshop on February 23

PRLog (Press Release) - Feb. 8, 2012 - Christine Wright-Isak, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Marketing, at Florida Gulf Coast University will speak on, “How Well do you Love Your Brand” on February 23, 2012 at 5:30 p.m. at Alliance Financial Group, located at 14021 Metropolis Avenue, Fort Myers, Florida 33912 (across Metro Parkway from Gulf Coast Medical Center). Dr. Wright-Isak will provide business owners and entrepreneurs with valuable insights on ways to improve the marketing and branding of their businesses and professional practices.

She received her Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Chicago in 1985 and was a marketing executive with Omnicom and Young & Rubicam in New York. Client work included General Electric’s "We Bring Good Things to Life" campaign and the launch of Lever 2000® and Colgate Total® toothpaste, for which she won a Gold Ogilvy medallion, the Advertising Research Foundation’s highest award. She has also been the corporate reputation specialist for DuPont, Kodak, and Johnson & Johnson.

More recently, Dr. Wright-Isak successfully helped reposition Champion® outerwear of Hanesbrands® that involved research and a repositioned brand, resulting in one of 2009’s most successful business market share increases amid a falling retail environment.

Dr. Wright-Isak continues to do brand consulting with global marketers, as well as conduct occasional local workshops for businesses. She also serves as FGCU’s Faculty Advisor to “Students Who Served”, the student organization of military veterans who served in Iraq and Afghanistan are now transitioning to civilian life on the G.I. Bill.
