The report goes into details on it financials, marketing avenues, strategy and current market position. Panache follows a “build and exit” business model in which its brands are “built” or developed into attractive acquisition candidates for large global alcoholic beverage companies. As these brands mature, Panache aims to sell these brands individually while continuing to develop its portfolio of brands. The company has already demonstrated that this strategy has successfully worked in the past, with its 42 BELOW premium vodka. Panache managed to build up this brand to the point where it got bought by Bacardi Beverages for a substantial profit of $91 million (representing a gain on sale of $71 million), in 2006. WDKA currently has three brands in its portfolio, all competing in the $970 billion global alcoholic beverage market. Panache states that it is confident of market share through its ‘quality to value’ pricing.
