Looking Forward to jEM Summer Camp 2012

Feb. 9, 2012 - PRLog -- Applications have already begun rolling in for the Junior Entrepreneurs of Minnesota (jEM) Summer Camp! jEM 2012 is set to run from June 11 to July 12 at the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management. Poised to capitalize on last year’s success, this summer’s schedule is filled with hands-on entrepreneurship lessons, fun leadership activities, inspiring guest speakers, and site visits that will give students the chance to see entrepreneurship in action. jEM enhances students’ business skills and helps build their confidence in a dynamic, active learning environment. The program’s 30 students will also work on two ongoing projects: a team-based business pitch to develop their new entrepreneurial ideas, and a service leadership project in North Minneapolis. While jEM is a competitive program, any student between the ages of 14 and 20 who either attends high school in the Twin Cities area or is not currently enrolled in college is welcome and encouraged to apply. jEM is a truly unique opportunity for the Twin Cities’ most motivated and passionate aspiring young entrepreneurs to further develop both their professional and personal skills.
