Follow on Google News | "Middle East Realignment", a World Affairs Forum free presentation the Greenwich LibraryDr. Herbert London, President Emeritus at the Hudson Institute, will speak on MIDDLE EAST REALIGNMENT at the Great Decisions free program at the Greenwich Library on February 27 at 7 P.M.
Herbert London served as the Hudson Institute's President from 1997 to 2011. He is professor emeritus and the former John M. Olin Professor of Humanities at NYU. He was responsible for creating the Gallatin School of Individualized Study in 1972 and was its dean until 1992. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, New York City Cultural Affairs Commission, American History and Civics Advisory Board, and the International Institute of Strategic Studies. He is also an affiliated professor at the University of Haifa in Israel. In 2000 he received the Ellis Island Medal of Honor and in 2002 the Liberty and Media Award. Herbert London is a graduate of Columbia University and received his PhD from New York University. Refreshments are courtesy of the Greenwich Library, a co-sponsor of the program.
