Behind the Video
Health was shot on location at the historic Century Ballroom in Seattle, Washington. It takes two to Tango, so the clip features acclaimed dancer Michelle Badion (54) and world-class performer Patricio Touceda (37).
Badion is a dance instructor at the University of Washington and the Washington Dance Club. She specializes in the Argentine Tango, Salsa and West Coast Swing, and has been teaching partner dancing since 1989. She makes it a point to go dancing each night after classes at the university.
Touceda currently teaches group classes and private dance lessons at his studio, Tango Authority, also in Seattle. Known for his exceptional Tango skills, Touceda was the inspiration, choreographer and original lead dancer for the Tango sequence in the show “ZAiA” by Cirque du Soleil at the Venetian in Macau, China. Touceda and his troupe host special showcase appearances including upcoming presentations with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra and Cirque du Soleil. Touceda will be a featured performer and Tango instructor at the 2012 Euro Dance Festival in Frankfurt, Germany.
