Rasvihar  Announces  An Exhibition Of Fine Jewellery At Raintree Lifestyle Store , Bengaluru

Rasvihar of Chennai holds an exhibition of fine jewellery designed by Ahalya. S at Raintree Lifestyle Store, 4 Sankey Road, Opp ITC Windsor, Bengaluru 560052 between 10 am and 7 pm on 11th & 12th February 2012 (Saturday & Sunday). With over 15 exhibitions held in Bengaluru, Rasvihar seeks to strengthen this bond by bringing a unique blend of jewellery every time to woo the Bengaluru audience.

Rasvihar presents the New Classics, an exhibition of fine jewellery for women who celebrate every moment of life. Jewellery is rooted in classical tradition and inspired by Indian aesthetic, but at the same time understands the needs of women today by keeping the designs chic and elegant. Rasvihar's tagline - Jewellery for life, signifies small everyday moments in a woman's life hence making it more relevant in today's world.

Rasvihar is spread over a luxurious space of 6500 sq ft in a colonial styled bungalow at 17a Sterling road, Nungambakkam, Chennai 600034, India. The store houses some unique varieties of precious jewellery handmade by craftsmen and designed by Ahalya.

Ahalya, creative head of Rasvihar, inspired by nature and the simple beauty of a leaf created Leaf series jewellery. It will be available in two editions:18 carat gold with combination of diamonds and emeralds and 18 carat gold with diamonds.

Another distinct collection that will be available is the Navratna series made in gold and the nine precious gems - diamonds, rubies, emeralds, pearls, blue sapphires, corals, yellow sapphires, cats' eyes & garnets.

The collection will have earrings, nose rings, jhumkas, bangles, bracelets, pendants, necklaces & finger rings.

Babyrasa will present their special line of jewellery for children which has
earrings, bangles, pendants, anklets, waist chains & kurta buttons for boys. In
addition to this, over 25 varieties of jhumkas will be on display.

Ahalya. S, creative head of Rasvihar, studied traditional Indian dance and fine
art and trained at the International Gemological Institute. All her jewellery is
exclusively handcrafted by master craftsmen; so every piece she designs is
authentic and precious, individual and unique. She was chosen to participate
at the India International Jewellery Week 2011 edition in Mumbai where she
showcased some of her premium collection to a national audience. She uses
her extensive knowledge of Indian jewellery as the starting point for her work,
which is startlingly original and entirely attuned to evolving global aesthetics.
