PRLog (Press Release) - Feb. 8, 2012 - Embracing the use of social media and exploring digital story telling is a challenge for most businesses but for relatively new-kid-on-the-block luxury label Stephan Boya this approach seems a natural fit and intimately lines up with the labels fashion DNA. Experimenting with different channels to engage with and bring our customers closer to the label is a Learn-as-You-Go exercise that might not be a natural fit to other labels, especially not luxury oriented ones.

Celebrating a decidedly modern, empowered and urban woman of all ages the label turned to long time collaborator photographer Per Zennstrom to direct not just the video and the still campaign but also oversee the marketing aspects of this summer campaign.

“it was a challenge to evoke a sunny Mediterrean island in the middle of a raging snowstorm but thanks to a great team I’m very happy with the result” says the director.

Shot at Studio Aplanat in Hamburg the video is taking us for a short but suspenseful ride into a neo-film-noir heroine who suddenly finds the tables have turned on her as she finds herself alone in a hot summer night.
