Storage Village Leads Assistance Effort for Children with Serious Illnesses

Feb. 7, 2012 - PRLog -- North Bethesda, MD – February 7, 2012 – Storage Village is spearheading a campaign to provide relief to children with chronic and terminal illnesses by establishing a partnership with The Children’s Inn at NIH.  

The Children's Inn is a non-profit residential facility where Children from all 50 states and more than 80 countries stay, surrounded by the love and support of their family, while receiving groundbreaking medical treatments at the NIH.  Now through April 30th, Storage Village will be selling water bottles at their white flint location to support The Inn’s efforts.  All money collected from the water bottles will be going to The Inn's operating funds to provide housing and support programs to children and their families free of charge.

Storage Village assists non profits that meet the most critical needs in our community.  Establishing fundraising partnerships every three months, this community oriented self storage has provided relief from poverty, homelessness, hunger, and abuse.

Storage Village’s aid to The Children’s Inn at NIH marks just one of the many ways Storage Village exemplifies and encourages its core values of excellence, integrity, and community service.  Each full time employee volunteers at least 8 hours per month at the organization of his or her choosing.
