Last night in Dublin PLUS received recognition for 12 months of hardwork both on and behind the scenes.
The annual Hostelworld "Hoscars" awards were held for the 10th occasion rewarding hostels worldwide in various categories over the past 12 months. Each major city had an award for most "most popular hostel" as well as various other categories including best small, medium, large and extra large hostels, best hostel chains, best hostel by continent, country, crterias such as "fun", "security", "character", "staff", "location" and "cleanliness"
The first award PLUS received for the night was PLUS Florence being named as the "most popular" hostel in Florence as voted by guests.
PLUS then had 2 hostels named in the top 10 under the "extra large" hostels category. This constituted of hostels with 250 beds or more. PLUS Florence came in at number 10 with PLUS Berlin coming in at number 7. Not bad for a hostel that just completed its first full calendar year in operation.
This caps off a huge year for PLUS after already capturing the Hostelbookers award for "best new hostel in Europe" as well as being nominated for a "Golden Backpack" award by TNT magazine in the U.K.
