The first story is about the Khan family - Arif Khan had it all-- a beautiful family, the perfect job, a great life. With the kids in college, a loving and supportive wife, and a recently published book, he thought things couldn’t get any better. But the life of his family suddenly turned upside down when they least expected. In the midst of a celebration, they find themselves frantically trying to make sense of a situation that threatens to tear them apart.
The second story revolves around Ryan, Vinny and Deepika, employees of an IT sweatshop, who try to cope up with the demands of their unscrupulous employer, Rajeev Chopra. Ryan returns to work from a short leave to find an old-time colleague replaced with a recent college graduate, Vinny Oak, while another recent hire, Rahul, has been promoted to manager. As Vinny adjusts to his new workplace, he begins to sense Ryan’s hostility towards him. As the days go by, the employees grow increasingly unhappy with their jobs, until one day, a startling discovery throws the entire office into a state of panic.
Finally, the third story is about a same-sex couple, Ruby and Jennifer, whose lives were going smoothly until the day Ruby’s meddling mother, Maya, arrives from India. Soon after, the couple learns one startling news after another. To make things worse, they find themselves constantly negotiating with Maya who appears to be on a mission of her own. Ruby and Jennifer find themselves in a race against time as they try to pick up the pieces of their life, while Maya tries to help them in the only way she knows how.
It is one of the most anticipated South Asian independent films of 2012 due to its compelling story lines and the large ensemble cast.
