Pink Frosted Gala Supports Arts And Culture In Calgary

Feb. 8, 2012 - PRLog -- For the 4th year in a row, Dori’s Diamonds showcases art, culture, fashion, music, and design at the FROSTED Gala.  The ever popular event continues to grow and attract visitors from beyond the city limits. This year, guests to the PINK Frosted gala can expect two spring fashion shows by local designers Ruby Ellen (Ruby Ellen Designs) and Marsina King (Manokin Design), a fashion performance featuring dessert inspired wardrobe and dance, electric violinist Sophie Serafino, The Kirby Sewell band, special guest singer, at least 8 boutiques, brands, and vendors in the Pink Frosted Market place, and a silent auction in support of the Cerebral Palsy association! As if that isn’t enough, guests will also enjoy appetizers and desserts, a Pink Frosted lounge, dancing, art installation by M.K Dunkley, and many gifts and surprises!

Director and CEO Dorian Dunkley says, “I’m excited to see the event grow to this size – this has always been the goal. Each and every gala gets bigger and better, and supports and builds infrastructure for art, design, and culture in Calgary. Not only is the event a lot of fun to attend, but it will provide work for over 30 models, designers, musicians, photographers and artists - that is really exciting to me! On top of that, it will shed light on highly creative local businesses and individuals. The event also includes some exciting international brands like LVMH Fragrances, who we are very excited to include!”

The PINK Frosted Gala promises to be an amazing production. Each year, the gala nearly doubles in size, and perhaps we will see the same increase at this year’s first ever, Valentines edition.
