Workshops in Arts, Writing and Technology at BIG ARTS in February

PRLog (Press Release) - Feb. 6, 2012 - BIG ARTS has announced its workshop schedule for season and signups are ongoing.

All classes to follow will be held at BIG ARTS Center, 900 Dunlop Road, Sanibel, unless noted.
A Book in a Box with Martha Graham is Tuesday, February 7, 1 to 4 p.m.
Watercolor: Realistic and Abstract with Anne Kittel starts February 7; meets Tuesdays, 9 a.m to 12:30 p.m.
Layer Imagery Collage with Marjorie Pesek is Tuesday, February 7, 1 to 4 p.m.
Adobe Photoshop - Elements (Intermediate) with Denny Souers starts February 7; meets Tuesdays, 9 a.m. to Noon.
Pilates Mat Class with Marsha Wagner starts February 7; meets Tuesdays, 9 to 10 a.m.
Learning to See & Draw Through Old Master Drawings with Daphne Hammond starts February 8; meets Wednesdays, 10 a.m. to Noon.
Get Published: How to Sell What You Write with Kathryn Radeff starts February 8; meets Wednesdays, 9 a.m. to Noon.
Pine Needle Basketry with Gisela Damandl is Thursday, February 9, and Friday, February 10, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Introduction to Macintosh OS X with Dick Holmes starts February 9; meets Thursdays, 9 a.m. to Noon.
Facebook & Social Media for Beginners with Gerard Damiano is Friday, February 10, 9 a.m to 1 p.m.
Apps (for iPhone, iPod & iPad) with Gerard Damiano is Friday, February 10, 2:30 to 5:30 p.m.
Intermediate Watercolor with Bea Pappas starts February 10; meets Fridays, 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
Improv 101 with Jim Griswold & Randi Watkins starts February 11; meets Saturdays, 1 to 4 p.m.
Precious Metal Clays - Jewelry: “Ancient Faces” with Mary Ann Devos is Saturday, February 11, and Sunday, February 12, 9 a.m to 4 p.m.
Paint, Paste, Play/Mixed Media & Pigments of Your Imagination – Citra Art with Cathy Taylor is Saturday, February 11, and Sunday, February 12. Class meets Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Community Chorus meets at BIG ARTS Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. Community Band practices Mondays at 6:30 p.m. at St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church.
           
Individual flute, piano and saxophone lessons are available for children and adult students.
