Teen opera singing sensation and YouTube star Aria Tesolin's new love song Dolce has been downloaded by over 19 international radio stations in time for Valentine's Day 2012. Dolce, is now available worldwide on adult contemporary, pop-classical and easy listening format stations through dmds.com, Radiodirectx and Radiosubmit, where she is currently a featured artist.
Dolce is a pop classical song, in the operatic style of an Andrea Boceli song, who was an early inspiration for the artist. With an epic musical score written by Popi Fabrizio of Italy, with lyrics written by Aria, and produced by Douglas Romanow of Toronto, Dolce was recently voted the most beautiful love song by fans. Another fan favorite, The Key is now in rotation on Women of Substance Radio, Skope Radio and Indie Castle Radio.
Aria's operatic voice, who sings pop-classical songs in the style of Il Divo and Il Volo as well as adult contemporary crooner style songs in the style of Michael Buble, has become well known on YouTube with nearly 7 million viewers. Now a grown up teen at 18, Aria's early videos as an 8 year old child opera singer were the YouTube inspiration for a very young Jackie Evancho. Aria's voice has also been the inspiration for the lead character in the new novel by popular romance writer Patricia Rice called The Lure of Song and Magic.
Tesolin, a passionate next generation artist, was also the child opera singing sensation whose amazing vocal talents were featured on Cdn news networks and several television shows.
Tesolin recently released her self-titled EP, an original collection of timeless love songs, her first since her novelty album debut Baby Soprano in 2006, a 14 track classical opera album, from which 10 tracks have charted on Top 100 digital opera charts in 12 countries.
Equisite vocals are only the beginning of Aria’s talents as she also writes and often scores own music. She is both a songwriter and an award winning (and published) live performance poet. This dynamic combination of vocal talent and blazing originality is what distinguishes Aria as an artist.
In the EP, Aria’s signature soprano vocals light up the room in an alluring mix of original love songs, Dolce, The Key, and Now That I Know, in a pop-classical meets adult contemporary style that conjures the beauty of timeless crooner standards of the past.
Tesolin's songs have a wide intergenerational appeal. Her fans range from pre-teens to retirees. The artist particularly enjoys "converting"
A brief description:
Dolce: A pop classical styled innocent love song about two best friends who enjoy a wonderful day together and suddenly realize they have fallen in love, with an epic musical score written by Italian composer Popi Fabrizio Dolce’s timeless feel and thrilling chorus has all the makings of a classic love song that will be loved for years to come.
The Key: A dramatic love song that tells of a love affair with a mysterious, but familiar ghostly stranger who haunts her mind captures her heart in a more romantic time, where the potent blend of innocence and curiosity can breed unexpected romance. The Key is latin-inspired, but also has some classical, jazz, and contemporary elements.
Now That I Know: is a perfectly inspired, magnetically uplifting tribute to music and a simply beautiful love song, in a jazz crossover style with a Nat King Cole crooner feel.
Reviews:
“Every once in a while you find an artist who has that special something; an artist who has a voice that makes the hairs on your arms stand up; an artist whose music just makes you feel really good - that artist is Aria Tesolin. Aria has a true sense of musicality and originality that is hard to come by now-a-days. Aria's true songwriting talent is to take something universal and turn it into something truly majestic and magical. Aria Tesolin will take your breath away.... Underlying Aria's gorgeous voice are perfectly detailed arrangements and an artistic delivery that hasn't been seen since Norah Jones first hit the scene. Aria is both a musician's musician and a people's musician; she appeals to the concert hall trained ear and to general audiences who know they are hearing something extraordinary, but at the same time feel as though every song Aria sings was written just for them.” Silvia Harris, Aug. 2011 Record Label Door, A& R Tip Sheet Review, featured in USA Today
“Dolce is a graceful, classical/pop ballad which provides a fine showcase for Tesolin's singing and writing ability. This song starts off with an acoustic piano track, and then builds momentum with a elegant string arrangement and a soaring chorus melody. The most impressive aspect of this recording is Tesolin's wide vocal range--she begins the song singing in a deep, rich voice, and then goes into a higher soprano range in the chorus.” Winner, Best Vocalist of the Month Competition, Sept. 2011, Dale Kawashima, SingerUniverse.com
“rising and destined to become a star; Her hypnotizing, euphoric, and angelic voice mesmerized the audience. Her show was majestic.” Marina Radovanovic, Nov. 2011, RazMataz Magazine, Toronto Independent Music Awards Live Showcase Review
"Aria Tesolin has a gorgeous voice and her live performances are moving and memorable. This is an artist with a tremendously bright future." Gene Foley - Foley Entertainment
