FSBO Boot Camp Coming To Western Mass

The first home seller workshop event will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2012, from 12:30pm - 3:30pm at the Home Builders and Remodelers Association of Western Massachusetts headquarters, 240 Cadwell Dr., Springfield, MA.  

Mass Marketing Resources owner and FSBO expert, Liz Provo, present the free three-hour boot camp style workshop. Provo will teach attendees how to prepare their homes for the market covering home inspections, upgrades and repairs, and ways to set the right price.  Sellers will be given tips on how to maximize their home's curb appeal and learn ways to reach a wide buyer pool.  Attendees will learn ways to be competitive in today's market using FSBO listing websites, online and local classifieds, how to advertise on the MLS and Realtor.com, and how to include powerful social media.  Sellers will understand the Massachusetts real estate environment and learn how to work with agents on their own terms.  Also discussed will be the attorney's role in the real estate transaction, covering the offer, purchase and sale agreement and escrow issues.

FSBO Boot Camp is designed for 1st time and experienced private sellers as well as builders, developers and real estate investors who want to learn how to keep selling costs down as building/renovating costs continue to rise.  Special attention will be paid to selling empty homes, new construction and estate sale considerations. In today's market, or any market, saving thousands of dollars in needless real estate commission means more money can remain in the home seller's pocket, where it belongs.
