Best Chefs of Louisiana 2012 Nominees Announced

Feb. 5, 2012 - PRLog -- The American Culinary Federation New Orleans Chapter announced the 2012 Best Chefs of Louisiana nominees at a reception held at the New Orleans Fairgrounds on January 31, 2012.  
Nominated Chefs include Chef Chris Brown of Harrahs, Chef Lawrence Brown of Lagniappe Luncheonette, Chef David Bockstruck of Martin’s Wine Cellar, Chef Aaron Burgau of Restaurant Patois, Chef Drew Dzejak of The Grill Room, Chef Alan Ehrich of Audubon Nature Institute, Chef Stanley Everage, Sr. of DoubleTree Hotel, Chef Mark Falgoust of Grand Isle Restaurant, Chef Michael Farrell of Le Meritage, Chef Chad Gilchrist of Hilton Riverside Hotel, Chef Blaine Guillot of St. Charles Hospital, Chef Stacy Hall of Dick and Jenny’s, Chef Travis Johnson of Sodexo, Tulane, Chef Yusuke Kawahara of Little Tokyo, Chef Joey La Bella of LaBella’s Catering, Chef Joshua Laskay of NOLA Restaurant, Chef Xavier Laurentino of Barcelona Tapas, Chef Thong Le of August Moon, Chef Dominique Macquet of Tamarind by Dominique, Chef Bradley McGehee of Ye Olde College Inn, Chef Spencer Minch of Emeril’s Delmonico, Chef Justin Moore of Irish House, Chef Robert Myers of Goodwill Culinary Arts, Chef Mark Quitney of 5fifty5, Chef Felix Sherman of Ambrosias, Chef David Slater of Emeril’s, Chef Tory Stewart of Broussard’s, Chef Chris Tefarikis of New Orleans Country Club, and Chef Michael Uddo of Tulane U.    On April 16th at 7:00pm at Generations Hall the ACFNO will present the finalists deemed The Best Chefs of Louisiana 2012. Tickets are available for purchase by visiting the organization’s website at www.acfno.org.
   Also in attendance will be the returning Legends Chefs including Chef Matt Murphy, Chef Susan Spicer, Chef Tenney Flynn, Chef Tory McPhail, Chef Frank Brigtsen and Chef John Folse. The organization will also recognize the celebrated professionals Ti Martin, JoAnn Cleavenger and Mary Bartholomew.
