Relaxation God’s Way II expands upon the deep breathing and progressive muscle relaxation of the original and has a unique structure that allows the listener pace themselves while still being guided through each session.
“Much of what causes stress is how we find ourselves in a tug of war with good and evil” says writer Silvia Lakoduk. “I wanted to touch on the scriptures we find in God’s Word that will inspire the listener to seek Christ and live in the strength that He has given us because of His great gift of redemption. He wants us to live in relationship with Him, not in fear of rules and of judgment”.
“Musically, I am very happy with this latest work”, says Everett Lakoduk who writes and performs the music and collaborates with Silvia on the script. “It starts and ends with a very simple musical interval, weaves and builds upon it throughout the piece giving the listener an almost subliminal repetition in which to pace their breathing. There is restfulness in knowing what will happen next, while at the same time there are a number of musical turns that are refreshing and winsome and frankly not expected, but that will lift your spirit and carry you off.”
The entire session is about 23-1/2 minutes long and features all new music, plus a music only track giving about 47 minutes of relaxation. It is available as a cd or mp3 from iTunes, Amazon and on the official website of Being. in Him; http://www.beinginhim.net
