Braintree District Council selects Jadu Universe and mobile platforms for a 'Rich customer journey'

Braintree District Council's selection of Jadu's Universe web content management and mobile platform has been driven by the need to deliver 'Rich customer journeys' across multiple devices.
 
Feb. 5, 2012 - PRLog -- Braintree District Council has announced a partnership with leading UK technology company Jadu to transform its current website and create a new mobile solution.

Jadu specialise in the design and development of rich web experiences that support websites, intranets and extranets and mobile web applications. Their UK clients include more than 50 local Councils, Directgov (Government Digital Service), the universities of Leeds and Northampton and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Braintree Council's decision to work in partnership with Jadu signals the start of a new phase in their web strategy.

Cllr Chris Siddall, Cabinet Member for Efficiency and Resources, Braintree District Council said:

Built into the new site will be improved transactional systems, social media and a mobile web application that will enable our customer's online access from all their devices such as computers, tablets or mobile phones.”

Jadu's Universe platform is a future-proof, next-generation Web Content Management System (CMS) and mobile solution that enables all users, no matter how limited their technical knowledge, to create innovative, customer-focused websites and mobile applications. The technology will allow the Council to develop new online environments and ensure all content is up to date, relevant and properly managed. It will also enable them to handle increased volumes of online transactions and offer a new mobile service.
