The Center’s mission is to provide volunteer services to help Wake County seniors, family caregivers, and adults with disabilities maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life.
With fewer children available to provide assistance to older family members, informal caregiving is a more challenging and stressful than in previous years. For those living alone, social isolation may be compounded by the inability to drive oneself.
The Center for Volunteer Caregiving offers a solution and is committed to ensuring services are provided with no fees. Our volunteers make this possible through the three core services offered: transportation, respite and caregiving support, and in home services.
Please save the date and we hope to see you there. Tickets are $50 each (all the proceeds go to the The Center for Volunteer Caregiving) and can be purchased on line at http://www.volunteercaregiving.org/
