La Freissinede is a traditional vineyard construction in the beautiful Corbieres region, an old and lovely building brought right up to date with contemporary interior design of the highest standard.  All six bedrooms have satellite TV, en suite bathroom, and there are sensational views from all areas. The Corbieres is an exciting area with plenty to do, including the annual Carcassone   festival held nearby, golf also at Carcassone with lovely views of the old town, plenty of beaches, riding, canoing, fishing, hiking and rock climbing all nearby.  

Villa La Tosca near Bordeaux enjoys a perfect position, where the garden gate leads right onto the beach in the Bassin d’Arcachon, a famous beauty spot.  The villa is a turn-of-the-century masterpiece in the Italian style with 8 bedrooms and tall windows that make the best of the views and the very special light there, including the tower bedroom which has 360 degree views.  The whole property was recently fully restored to a superb standard and can be booked with chef and catering staff at modest extra cost.
