“We had the concept in mind for a self contained Four Wheel Camper for a few years.  The challenge was how to implement a shower and cassette toilet into the confines of a 80” long, 75” inch wide Fleet model.  We targeted the Fleet for our first self contained camper as it was the smallest Four Wheel possible for a self contained model,” says Tom Hanagan, Four Wheel Camper’s President.

Tom went on to tell us about the trucks that will be a good match for the self-contained pop-up campers.  “The self contained option is currently available in our Fleet, Hawk, and Grandby models.  The Fleet and Hawk are short bed models and the Grandby is a long bed model.  Models smaller than the Fleet are too narrow to accommodate the self contained features.  The Fleet could go on a Tacoma, Frontier, or a Dakota.”
