WHAT: The Springs Preserve is partnering for a third year with the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers to host The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards Southern Nevada Regional Competition. Explore the best artwork from our local students grades 7-12 in a variety of formats, from photography to painting, sculpture to digital design. See the Gold Key winners from the region before they are submitted for the national Awards! Founded in 1923, The Awards are the oldest, longest running and most prestigious recognition program for student achievement in the visual arts and creative writing in the United States. This exhibit will be on display in the Big Springs Gallery and is free for Springs Preserve members or included with general admission. For additional information visit www.artandwriting.org
