S&L Motors Announces Chrysler Group Posts Best January Numbers since 2008

PRLog (Press Release) - Feb. 2, 2012 - S&L Motors, a Green Bay Chrysler dealer, is proud to announce that  Chrysler Group recently announced that they had their best January since 2008, selling 70,118 vehicles. Not only does this mark show a 44 percent increase, but also marks the 22nd-consecutive month of year-over-year sales gains. Not to mention the eighth-consecutive month of sales increases of at least 20 percent or greater.

Reid Bigland, Dodge’s President & CEO, stated that, “We started the new year with a bang by growing sales 44 percent. In January we continued building on the sales momentum that we generated during 2011 with our 16 all-new or significantly-refreshed products.”

The January figures were propelled by Chrysler Group’s strong sedan sales including; the Chrysler 300, Chrysler 200, Dodge Charger and Dodge Avenger. Jeep also boasted some high sales figures, increasing 37 percent in January, led by the Jeep Liberty which posted a 68 percent increase for the month alone! The rest of the Jeep models also posted double digit year over year gains. Ram trucks also showed an increase of almost 50 percent, 47 percent. All-in-all Mr. Marchionne has been doing a phenomenal job as Chrysler Group continues to soar!
