Certified Medical Scribes will provide real-time assistance with the completion of the patient’s electronic medical record under the supervision of the attending physicians in the Department of Emergency Medicine.

Physicians working with a Scribes STAT Medical Scribe can significantly reduce the amount of time spent on charting, allowing more time spent with patients. Medical Scribes will be deployed in the Emergency Department of Salem Hospital to assure all necessary patient documentation is being captured properly. “This is particularly crucial for the Salem Hospital Emergency Department—one of the busiest in the Northwest.
