PRLog (Press Release) - Feb. 1, 2012 - Ken Davidoff, and Jack Connell announce the launching of their newest web site, Oldrockphoto containing the greatest compilation of Ken's classic rock concert and festival photographs to date. Ken photographed The MIami Pop Festival in 1968, which was the first rock festival in Florida.This festival was Michael Lang's first promotion , and it headlined Jimi Hendrix, Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention, Blue Cheer, , John Lee Hooker, and Chuck Berry.This Festival was where Woodstock was born, Michael Lang wrote a book called "The Road To Woodstock",. He ended up using four of Ken's photos in his book . Ken's work has also been used in the book "Ultimate Hendrix" by John McDermott. All of Ken's photos of Jimi Hendrix are licensed by Authentic Hendrix LLC. . Ken has also photographed John Lennon, Elvis Presley,Johnny Cash,Janis Joplin,Johnny Winter,Paul McCartney,The Rolling Stones,Bob Dylan,Rush, over eighty rock groups, including the three day, 1969 Palm Beach Pop Festival. On the other side of the coin, Ken has documented the launch of Apollo 11, The 1972, Miami Democratic, and Republican Conventions, 6 US Presidents,and royalty from around the world. He and has 17 photographs of the Kennedy Family in his Fathers book "The Kennedy Family Album". Since 2008, Ken Davidoff and Jack Connell are working on documentaries of the 1969 Palm Beach Pop Festival, and The 1968 Miami Pop Festival.
