Hope for Haiti is collecting supplies in Daytona Beach like medical essentials, basic necessities and toys to donate to more than 300 schoolchildren at two of Haiti’s schools most in need.
The needs in Haiti are so great that almost any donation can be used, but the items below are most needed. Used toys, clothing, equipment, etc. is equally appreciated. Donations toward the purchase of supplies are also welcomed.
Items needed:
Food: Rice, cooking oil, canned or dry beans, canned meat or fish, other canned food
items, bottled water, Ensure, Pediasure.
Personal necessities:
Toothbrushes & toothpaste, soap, shampoo, brushes & combs, lotion, children’s multivitamins, Dry dog & cat food.
First Aid:
Aspirin, Tylenol/acetaminophen, bandages, gauze, hand sanitizer, hydrogen peroxide,
alcohol, etc.
School Supplies:
Notebooks/paper, pencils & pens, crayons & markers, portable blackboards, chalk
toys
Sports Squipment:
(soccer balls,basketballs, volleyballs, etc.), toys for boys and girls, dolls, action figures, stuffed animals, etc.
Clothing:
Sneakers, any shoes, children’s shorts and t-shirts, etc.
