South Florida Attorney Carries on Professional Family Traditions

Feb. 1, 2012 - PRLog -- 2012 marks Stuart Reed’s 20th year as a member of the Florida Bar, his 15th year in private practice, and his 5th year as a Florida Supreme Court certified circuit court mediator.  

February 1, 2012 also marks the 1 year anniversary at his new office location in Hallandale Beach.

Stuart Reed explains that he opened his own law office only five years into his legal career in order to serve clients better.  “I mainly became my own boss so I could set the standards in my office.  Working for myself, I make sure that clients receive the attention they deserve, that everything is explained clearly to them up front, and that they are charged fair and reasonable fees.”

“When I started out on my own fifteen years ago, I used to call my father, Allen Reed, for guidance every day.  He was a highly respected attorney in South Florida since 1971, with a vast amount of experience, knowledge, and the highest professional standards.   I learned so much from him that after he passed away I never felt that I lost my main advisor, because I know how he would always advise me to approach my work diligently, thoroughly, professionally and honestly.”

“I remember one day I accompanied him aboard a cargo vessel docked in the Miami River, loaded with all sorts of goods ready to ship to Haiti.  The ship’s owner wanted my father to resolve a financial dispute with the dockmaster so the ship could depart.  Because of his precise and correct analysis, coupled with clear, sound advice, we soon left them with a signed settlement agreement, and the loaded ship was able to set sail.”
