Jan. 31, 2012 - PRLog -- We are excited to announce Cameras For Kids Foundation (CFKF) has been selected by Cars.com to participate in their Cars Cares corporate giving initiative. Cars Cares has selected seven charities to participate, each chosen because they instill confidence in children and young adults. Our participation means we have a chance to receive up to $100,000.

To receive the grand prize, they need to gather more votes than the other participating charities.  Please vote every day, ask your friends to vote and share your votes with your entire network on Facebook.  A $100,000 donation would have a major impact on all the underprivileged children living in foster facilities across the United States.  Voting begins on Thursday, January 26 and lasts until Monday, February 13.

There is even more you can do to help us bring in the maximum donation. If you’re watching the Super Bowl on February 5, use the free mobile app Shazam to tag the Cars.com TV commercial.  Each tag puts $1.00 towards whichever charity receives the most votes on Facebook.

Help them win the maximum prize: vote, share and Shazam!  We thank you for your support of Cameras For Kids Foundation. It is through your personal donations and support of initiatives like Cars Cares that we are able to continue to provide cameras and instruction to less fortunate children living in foster facilities while increasing their self-confidence, self-esteem and offering the deserving children a skill set.
