Jan. 31, 2012 - PRLog -- Bethpage, NY – January 31, 2012 –Bethpage Federal Credit Union announces its partnership with Northport’s John W. Engeman Theater for yet another extraordinary performance, The Sunshine Boys Comedy, beginning February 2, 2012 through March 25, 2012.  Nominated for a Tony Award on Broadway, this laugh-out-loud comedy follows two faded vaudeville legends, Lewis and Clark, as they reunite to perform their old act one last time. This nostalgic comedy by Neil Simon is packed with the slapstick comedy sketches that embody the golden days of vaudeville.

Ticket sales will help raise money for the Cohen Children’s Medical Center of NY, a Long Island based children’s medical facility offering health care services to screen, diagnose, and treat a wide variety of injuries and illnesses for adolescents, pediatrics and children.  Regular ticket prices for reserved seating are $50.00 per person, but can be purchased for $45.00 when using a special Bethpage promotional code available by visiting www.lovebethpage.com.  For every ticket bought with the promotional code, The John W. Engeman Theater will generously donate $10.00 to the Cohen Children’s Medical Center of NY.

“The Cohen Children’s Medical Center of New York provides countless families with much needed children’s and pediatric services and support.  We are very thankful to partner with Bethpage Federal Credit Union and the John W. Engeman Theater – two organizations that work to support the Long Island community in every way they can - for their efforts on our behalf,” said Kevin Carraccio, Vice President of Development, Cohen Children’s Medical Center of NY.

“We’re looking forward to working with the John W. Engeman Theater for another successful year.  It is rewarding to know that for every effort we partner, a huge impact is made on the charities we support,” said Linda Armyn, Senior Vice President, Bethpage Federal Credit Union. “The Cohen Children’s Medical Center of New York is an extraordinary establishment, and Bethpage couldn’t be more excited to work with such a community-minded organization.”

The Sunshine Boys Comedy is one of many Bethpage-supported shows at the John W. Engeman Theater, which raise money and awareness for different Long Island charities. To date, over $10,000 has been raised through their partnership, including over $5,000 raised recently for the Education & Assistance Corporation, through “A Wonderful Life” ticket sales – the largest amount raised with the use of the promotion code Bethpage for an Engeman show so far.
