Woodworker’s Cellar launches a new website for woodworkers

Jan. 31, 2012 - PRLog -- Using a new concept in information delivery, Woodworker’s Cellar offers woodworkers the opportunity to search through so 60+ online suppliers catalogues to find the products they are looking for.
The idea developed from a personal interest in woodworking. It takes time to build up a database of knowledge about where one can buy the various specialty products one requires as projects become more challenging. Even after having built up a list of reliable suppliers, the remaining problem was that one spends quite bit of time searching through different supplier’s web sites to find and compare. In the end we built up a database of suppliers and then developed a custom internet search engine based on Google's indexing, so that one could search for a wide range of woodworking-related products, getting back only relevant results.
Woodworker’s Cellar (http://woodworking.classical-luxury.com/) also collects some 50 instructional videos covering many topics in woodworking from starting to the advanced techniques required for making period furniture.
Finally, a library of more than 300 relevant books selected from Google Books allows fulltext searching and substantial direct on-line reading, for those that prefer.
