SpectraCell has hosted 28 successful webinars in the past two years with a diverse group of expert presenters.  Credentials range from world reknown cardiologists and anti-aging practitioners to metabolic experts, gynecologists, registered dieticians and more.  Topics typically focus on the link between micronutrient status and disease and the diagnostic tools currently available in clinical practice to assess this.  Several diseases have been covered in past webinars in addition to topics such as case study reviews, gluten sensitivity and telomeres.  Two additional doctors will be added to the 2012 webinar series – both with an anti-aging slant to their practice.

A webinar is a seminar given on the web.  The audience views and hears the presentation on their own computers so physical attendance is not required.  There is an interactive component of the webinar in that the “attendees” can send questions during the presentation, which will the presenter receives and answers during the question and answer session at the end.

Each webinar is about an hour in length and occurs on the third Thursday of the month. Slides and audio to each webinar  can be downloaded by the public within 24 hours of the live event and are listed on SpectraCell’s website in their webinar library:  http://www.spectracell.com/clinical-education-center/educ...

About SpectraCell Laboratories – SpectraCell is a CLIA accredited laboratory that offers advanced clinical testing to healthcare providers nationwide. SpectraCell’s diagnostic testing is relevant for both prevention as well as the treatment and management of disease since it offers cellular nutritional analysis, cardiovascular diagnostics, aging and genetic testing.

SpectraCell’s micronutrient testing is a comprehensive assessment of a patient’s nutritional status at the cellular level. Unlike traditional serum, hair and urine tests, SpectraCell’s micronutrient testing measures how an individual’s white blood cells function in specific nutritional environments. Over 32 vitamins, minerals, amino acids and antioxidants are evaluated. As a result, individual differences in metabolism, age, genetics, health, prescription drug usage, absorption rate and other factors are taken into consideration.
