Paul Dowding on NYSE Floor Broking for HFT at Speed Trading Reception in New York City

PRLog (Press Release) - Jan. 31, 2012 - Mr. Dowding has over 25 years experience in the industrial and financial services sector and has lived and worked in London, New York, Singapore and Sydney. Over the course of his career, Mr. Dowding has worked for a number of major financial institutions, including Chase Manhattan Bank, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs and Bank of America, in the areas of global custody, securities lending, private wealth management, prime brokerage, and equity finance. He has also supported other trading and investment management businesses as well. In addition to working with equities, fixed income, exchange-traded and OTC derivatives, his roles have included operations, client services, and project and product management. As a product manager and consultant, Mr. Dowding has helped design, implement and justify platforms for equity and fixed income prime brokerage, collateral and risk management, and Liquid, Credit & Structured Product Trading Platforms. Mr. Dowding has also successfully run his own business-process consulting group, Daedalus Oversight, and a creative licensing company, Putney Bridge Enterprises, LLC (PBE), since 2001.

Mr. Dowding previously graduated from Chase Manhattan Banks Operations Management Program and began his career as a manufacturing engineer for Ford Motor Co. He holds a Bachelor of Science with honors in Aeronautics & Astronautics from the University of Southampton, UK and is an Associate Member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers, UK. Mr. Dowding is FINRA Series 7, 63 & 24 registered.
