Plug-and-Play Smart Extended Range Temperature Sensor monitors extremely low to extremely high temperature ranges for everything from cryogenic freezers to solar thermal collection systems.

BOSTON, MA – January 31, 2012 –Temperature@lert (http://www.TemperatureAlert.com) announced today the release of its latest temperature accessory, Extended Range Temperature Sensor ($177 USD). This new sensor is capable of logging, monitoring, and alerting for critical temperatures ranging from deep-freeze (-200°C) to scorching hot (+600°C). Its advanced design offers unique capabilities that sets it apart in the marketplace, such as:

•   FDA Approved Corrosion-Resistant 316 Stainless Steel Tip
•   Teflon Insulated Wires with Rugged Stainless Steel Over-Braid
•   Ability to Monitor and Alert from -200°C to +600°C
•   Plug-and-Play Design: Connect to Any Port Any Time for Instant Setup

Harry Schechter, Temperature@lert Founder and CEO, developed this probe in order to meet the growing needs of the bio-pharmaceutical community. John Alaimo, Sr. VP Technical Operations at Advantar Laboratories Inc., who currently uses two Extended Range Temperature Sensors, said that they “now enjoy the advantages of a networked alarm notification solution that reliably creates and sends alerts at times when our customer’s clinical product or long term stability samples may be in danger without the expensive implementation and overhead typically associated with other systems”.

Schechter is “excited for the prospects of protecting a wider variety of critical temperature environments, especially in the bio-pharmaceutical industry”. Whether your needs are for storing bio-pharmaceutical materials or for monitoring the temperature performance of a solar thermal collection system, Temperature@lert’s Extended Range Temperature Sensor is the probe for you.
