MAKATI CITY, PHILIPPINES—December 13, 2011—John Robert Powers (JRP), the leading personality development school in the Philippines, gives away early Christmas treats to its Facebook and Twitter friends.

With the launch of its new Facebook page on November 18, JRP Philippines granted its first 100 fans free classes from December 5- 15. The winners attended a class of their choice from the three available courses: Visual Poise(creating your visual statement through graceful integration of body movement),  Wardrobe (Power Dressing), and Imaging  (Image Enhancement and Make-Over Techniques). Classes were held in all JRP branches in Makati, Alabang, and Quezon City in 9 different schedules.

In the visual poise classes (Dec 5-7), students were taught about the value of posture and body movements in developing a positive attitude and self-esteem. The imaging classes (Dec 8, 9, 12) focused on image-enhancement and make-over techniques while the wardrobe classes (Dec 13-15) were centered on power dressing and the relation of appearance to one’s personal style and confidence.

Aside from the free classes, JRP Philippines also awarded a Personality Development Program Scholarship to one Facebook friend chosen via raffle on December 1. Of the 290 fans who liked the page from Nov 18-30, Michael David, creator of the local indie comic Kubori Kikiam, was chosen as the lucky winner of the exclusive JRP scholarship. David won a Level 1 Personality Development Program Scholarship worth P38,000.

With the free classes and scholarship grant, JRP Philippines wishes to share not only its world-class courses with its fans, but also the matchless experience of gaining friends and developing self-esteem in all JRP classes. In all this, JRP Manila remains true to its commitment of unleashing the potential of every person and honing life winners.
