Atlanta Business Owner Appointed to Chair the Inventory Institute's Insurance Task Force

Jan. 30, 2012 - PRLog -- The Inventory Institute announced the appointment of 2012-2013 Advisory Board and Task Force members last week in the ‘2012 Open House’ edition of The Inventory News (www.InventoryNews.info). The Inventory Institute brings together proven leaders in the Home Inventory Profession from all over North America. Each of these top-notch Home Inventory Professionals (HIPs) bring their own successful professional practices and procedures.

Melton Bennett, owner of  Atlanta-based What’s Under Your Roof? will chair the 2012-2013 Insurance Company & Commissioner Task Force. Under Melton’s direction and proven leadership, this task force will research, brainstorm, and provide recommendations for successful communication and relationship building activities between ethical HIPs and respected members of the insurance industry. Melton, along with other Inventory Institute leaders share a common denominator: a sincere passion to ethically and professionally advance the Home Inventory profession while protecting both HIPs and consumers from false programs and fake credentials made possible by flashy websites, smart social media, and good SEO.

Melton was selected to Chair this serious and important industry task force because of his obvious dedication and passion for promoting third-party HIPs. Melton spends a great deal of time collaborating and masterminding with other HIPs and brainstorming unique approaches to consumer education and industry awareness. Melton has performed third-party Home Inventory since 2010. He was a key participant at the 2011 Home Inventory Professionals Conference and was instrumental in drafting an d creating The Home Inventory Professional’s Code of Honor and the Home Inventory Professional’s Client Bill of Rights.  

Melton and the Task Force will meet regularly. The Insurance Company and Commissioner Task Force’s main goal is to promote and protect HIPs while implementing successful strategies for opening the lines of communication between ethical HIPs and leaders in the Insurance industry.
