Experienced Leadership for Midwest Real Estate Data (MRED) in 2012

Jan. 30, 2012 - PRLog -- Midwest Real Estate Data (MRED), the Chicagoland multiple listing service, is pleased to announce its new leadership team for 2012.

Each year the MRED Board of Managers nominates and elects a slate of officers from among their ranks to guide the company through the upcoming year. This year’s officers bring an immeasurable level of experience to the table. “In my short time as CEO of MRED, I have had the pleasure of working with all of these gentleman,” said Russ Bergeron, “and I am fully confident that they are capable of leading us through the next year and beyond.”

The new leadership team consists of:

President - Rob Schaid, broker/owner of Re/Max Plaza in McHenry, Richmond and Wauconda.  Rob has been a real estate practitioner for twelve years, a broker/owner for six years and has served as MRED’s Treasurer for the past two years and has served on the Board since the birth of MRED in 2008.  “I could not be more pleased that our Board has the confidence and trust in me to take on the responsibility of President of MRED,” said Rob.  “It is a very exciting time to be in real estate and I look forward to serving with such a distinguished group of Managers.”

Vice-President - Al Rossell, the Jack Carpenter Organization in Oak Park.  Al has been a real estate broker and appraiser for forty-five years, a broker/owner for fifteen and has served on the Board since 2008 as well.

Treasurer – Chuck Dinolfo, broker/owner of Century 21 Pro Team headquartered in Tinley Park.  Chuck has been a real estate practitioner for twenty-six years, a broker/owner for seventeen years and has served on MRED’s Board of Managers for the last two years.  

Secretary - Tom Guttilla, Coldwell Banker Today’s Realtors in Peru.  Tom has been a real estate practitioner for thirty-three years, thirty of which he has been a broker/owner.  He has served on MRED’s Board of Managers for the last three years.

While excited to have the participation and service of a distinguished and experienced new group of officers, MRED saw the end of the terms of a number of very talented individuals who helped guide the organization since its inception.

After serving two successful terms as President, Dean Rouso of Baird & Warner in LaGrange said, “I commend the Board members and the Staff I have been working with for their dedication and commitment to MRED.  I look forward to MRED building on the many accomplishments of the Board from these past four years.”

Leaving the Board, former Vice-President Jim Nelson, Jr., broker/owner of Re/Max Suburban based in Mt. Prospect, added, “I have loved serving on the Board for eight of the last nine years.  I have learned so much from the experience and hopefully contributed a little as well.  MRED has made such great strides under the leadership of CEO Russ Bergeron and what I would call the best staff anyone could ever ask for.  Dean Rouso has done an exceptional job as President and I am confident MRED will continue in the right direction for years to come.”

“On behalf of MRED, I thank the talented and dedicated individuals who have generously given their time to this organization,” added Bergeron.  “Fortunately we will continue to have the participation of most of the previous officers on the Board of Managers.  We could not ask for better qualified or more committed individuals than those who volunteer to sit on our Board.  It is no accident that MRED is experiencing such great success and stability.”
