As well as discussing how and why many more businesses might want to turn themselves into an employee-owned company, the interview also considers the likely impact of public service mutualisation.  The Government wishes to see a major change in the way public services are delivered, involving employee-led mutuals (ELM) taking over service provision.  These are also often (quite loosely) referred to as social enterprises, cooperatives or mutuals.  To learn more about how more public services are likely to be delivered by employee-owned companies, please listen to the podcast.
