Pin-Ups, Burlesque and Old Hollywood Glamor, jewelry Designer Lesley-Anne Slisko has had a love affair with retro-style since childhood.  Vintage inspired she would watch old movies with leading ladies like Bettie Davis, Ava Gardner and about Burlesque icon Gypsy Rose Lee.

After relocating from Canada to a small town in North Carolina, she discovered Ava Gardner’s hometown was Smithfield, North Carolina. It was an adjustment changing countries, newly married, limited in location and dealing with small town life.  

Looking for adventure she made a point of visiting the Ava Gardner museum.  Ava’s gowns, costumes, stories of her romances, movies and more adorned the walls.  Lesley-Anne had rediscovered her love for glamor.  She was in love and ready to create retro-style jewelry.

Her newest retro-style collection and character Barones Lovey De Luxe was born. The Barones is a release from everyday frustrations.  It’s an imaginary adventure of fun, glamor and gorgeous jewelry.
