All Mira’s Hand products are based on traditional ingredients and rituals. In Morocco rich and poor practice the same beauty routine and use the same natural ingredients.
Mira’s Hand Authentic Moroccan Skin Care is developed by Jamila El Maroudi, a Moroccan native who moved to Australia in 2005 to join her Australian born husband. When she first arrived she was surprised to see that none of her authentic, pure and natural skin care products were available. She quickly arranged for her family and friends to send them to her or stock up during her travels to Morocco.
Jamila believes in beauty sharing, not beauty secrets and would explain her Moroccan beauty regimen to her new Australian friends and family. She started to receive orders for her Moroccan products from her new family and friends. As demand grew and grew, Jamila decided to share her authentic Moroccan skin care products with the wider community and in 2011 Mira’s Hand was born.
At Mira’s Hand we seek to educate modern society to rediscover the traditional values and benefits that a natural skin care regime can offer, through products and techniques that have been lost over time. Our range is affordable, natural and honest and you won’t need a science degree to understand the ingredients used.
We are dedicated to supplying affordable, all natural and organic Moroccan Argan oil based products to all people who care about their skin but also appreciate good value for money.
In sourcing these products directly from co-operatives in the south-western region of Morocco, Mira’s Hand actively seeks to support Moroccan women and the preservation of their craft, with educational and self-developmental opportunities.
The indigenous Berber women of Morocco have used Argan Oil for over 2000 years!
The name Mira’s Hand is a literal translation. In Morocco whenever someone refers to someone’s hand it means that the person is gifted. Mira is the name of Jamila’s beautiful grandmother who was famous for her ‘hands’. Mira was a strong woman, a very gifted cook, a storyteller and knew all the natural formulations for ailments and beauty treatments.
