Doctors' Web Designs was launched by Alan Burch, BSIS, MBA , a Drucker School of Management alumni of the Claremont Graduate University.  He previously was a founding partner in Sterling Carteret, Inc., a database administration consultancy in Colorado Springs, and has a strong background in programming, technical support, and marketing and strategy.  DWD has collaborated with several managed care, practice management, graphic designers and video production companies along with several EHR vendors to delivery collaborative design, functionality and interoperability to small physician practices. All operations occur in Colorado.

The collaboration gives DWD a domain expertise edge in designing the medical business websites for operational and social media integration.

The basic websites feature ease of integration with social media channels, physician blogs, and patient forms and resources, as well as Google Maps integrated way finding, HIPAA and other patient registration paperwork, and patient education materials.  Bespoke video footage and photography can be incorporated into the designs as optional modules to give website visitors further information about  services and treatment facilities of the providers, the physician's CV and a face-to-name connection on support staff.  Other optional modules can be added to increase functionality as may be practical.
