Teri Tobin to Sing National Anthem at WM Phoenix Open 2012

Scottsdale, AZ: Today, the Tobin Blakes Group announced that international indie soul sensation, Teri Tobin will perform the national anthem at the Waste Management (WM) Phoenix Open 2012 on Wednesday, February 1st at approximately 3:30 p.m. during the Phoenix Suns Charities “Shot at Glory” opening ceremonies, presented by Snell & Wilmer, LLP at the TPC Scottsdale following the FBR/Xerox Silver Pro-Am.  

The “Shot at Glory” festivities will kick-off at the famed par-3, 16th hole at 3:30 p.m. with presentations from the Color Guard, Suns Dancers, team mascot The Gorilla, Solar Squad, war heroes, celebrities, sponsors and more.  Teri Tobin’s performance of the national anthem will begin at 3:35 p.m.

Teri Tobin, who makes regular appearances singing the national anthem for the NBA Phoenix Suns and WNBA Phoenix Mercury, recently performed at the Suns vs. Bucks game “…another wonderful anthem performance…such an amazing performer.” said Kip Helt, V.P. Game Entertainment, Phoenix Suns.

Her international hit-single “FREE” was #1 on various charts in the United Kingdom and The Netherlands.  Tobin, SoulTracks 2011 Readers’ Choice Awards nominee, is currently touring select cities in the U.S. with her “Lōve&Sōl LIVE” concert series which kicked-off at the legendary Roxy Theatre in December.  Her forthcoming new single is scheduled for release in February 2012.
