Williamsburg Environmental Group, Inc. Awarded Environmental Services GSA Schedule Contract

Jan. 27, 2012 - PRLog -- WILLIAMSBURG, VA.; January 27, 2012 – Williamsburg Environmental Group, Inc. (WEG), a local environmental consulting and engineering firm, is pleased to announce a new contract award from the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) making WEG a pre-approved vendor of environmental services to any federal agency.  Although WEG has worked with all levels of government during its 21 year history, this GSA award serves as a formal contract vehicle for government customers to directly utilize WEG’s services going forward.

Under GSA Contract GS-10F-0133Y, WEG has been pre-qualified to provide federal agencies with environmental services included in special item numbers (SINs) 899-1: Environmental Consulting Services, 899-7: Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Services, and 899-8: Remediation and Reclamation Services.

GSA is a centralized federal procurement and property management agency created by Congress to improve government efficiency and help federal agencies better serve public needs.  Through the GSA Schedule Program, customers can obtain a variety of services using pre-negotiated pricing, terms, and conditions.  Holding a GSA Schedule Contract constitutes a “pre-approval” on WEG’s environmental services qualifications and certifies that the prices on the contract are fair and reasonable.
