It's All Good At Tito's Burritos And Douglas Volkswagen

The business relationship between Tito's Burritos and Douglas Volkswagen.

Jan. 26, 2012 - PRLog -- I was sitting around Tito's Burritos waiting to interview Mike Caldarella, one of the owners of Titos Burritos. As I was debating grabbing a Lime Jarritos soda and Hang Five Shrimp Burrito for lunch, Mike buzzed on my cell phone. "Hey man, I'll be there in a few minutes, sorry for the lateness." I couldn't help but embrace the Tito's mantra as I replied, "it's all good." It's that good vibe karma flowing around Tito's Burritos that makes it a popular spot in Summit, NJ.

Tito's Burritos opened in Summit, NJ in 2005. Ownership opened a Morristown, NJ location in December 2008 and opened a third location in December 2010 in Ridgewood, NJ. I am a Summit, NJ resident myself and can vouch for the quality experience of dining at Tito's Burritos. Once you are inside, you feel as if you just hung up the surfboard outside a beachfront in Maui. The vibe inside is as mellow as can be. Surfboard, snowboard and skateboard paraphernalia adorn the walls. The food is always fresh and their portions are always generous. I love coming here on a warm weather day with my family for dinner. My kids run over to their salsa bar, which for free salsa and chips, is ridiculously good. Their chips are homemade and they have several different varieties of flavorful salsa. I not only enjoy eating Tito's Burritos with my family but at work as well. The Douglas Auto Group regularly orders from Tito's (their homemade wings are a Douglas favorite).

Once I sat down with Mike, he began to explain Tito's Burritos relationship with Douglas Volkswagen. Prior to the opening of Tito's Burritos, one of the owners of Tito's had been buying and leasing cars at Douglas Volkswagen since the 1990's. Once Tito's Burritos was formed, ownership did a corporate lease for a Volkswagen Rabbit at Douglas back in 2008. Not only did they thoroughly enjoy the Rabbit but also their experience at Douglas Volkswagen. Chris Ng was their Douglas VW Sales Consultant. Mike found Chris to be sharp, personable and dedicated to his craft. "A true professional" Mike stated. That indelible impression left by Chris Ng led Tito's Burritos back to Douglas Volkswagen in 2012. They not only leased from Chris a 2012 Jetta SE for ownership but also leased a 2012 Jetta S for their District Manager Vicki. Mike says Vicki is ecstatic to drive the 2012 Jetta as it is the car she was looking to purchase for herself.

As I left Tito Burritos in Summit, NJ, a certain parallel between both Tito's Burritos and Douglas Volkswagen struck a chord. We both strive to create a warm, personable and friendly atmosphere for our customers. If we've made a sale but our customers didn't enjoy their experience, it genuinely bothers us and we want to make sure we do whatever possible to make them happy again. It's this type of mantra that has kept the Douglas Auto Group in business in Summit since 1965. Tito's has been around since 2005 but by sticking to their core value of making sure "it's all good" for their customers, their brand will surely be a Summit favorite for years to come.
