Ashford Financial Group’s current Head of China Strategy Mr. Vernon Chu is retiring at the age of 68 at the end of January 2012, after 11 years in the role. Ms. Chen has worked under the supervision of Mr. Chu during the last 8 years, which facilitates a seamless transition of Ashford Financial Group’s strategy for China.

Ashford Financial Group’ new Head of China Strategy Ms. Chen was born in Beijing, China and graduated from Peking University in Mathematics in 1993. Ms. Chen has undertaken further professional qualifications during her 8 years working at a leading Bank in China before relocating to Tokyo in 2003 to start working with Ashford Financial Group.
Ashford Financial Group’ new Head of China Strategy Ms. Chen will be promoted to the position vacated by Mr. Vernon Chu.
