Reef Clean Up in the front of Oceans 5 dive resort, Gili Islands

Jan. 25, 2012 - PRLog -- Yesterday Oceans 5 dive resort organised a reef clean up in the front of their shop. Oceans 5 dive resort is located in the Harbor of Gili Air. Its a protected area for big waves, but in the raining season a lot of garbage comes from the open sea in the harbor and sinks. You can think of a lot of flip flops, shoes, plastic, cans, waterbottles, etc.  

The reef is famous for the strange creatures. You will find there all kind of pip fish, like the ornate gost pipefish, frog fish, mandarinfish, snake eels, etc. To save the reef Oceans 5 organise in the rainy season once a week a reef clean up. Its free for everyone.
