Nashville-Based Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist Americana/Rock Trevor Finlay's Songs Get Cut!

PRLog (Press Release) - Jan. 25, 2012 - NASHVILLE, TN - As the music industry remains a challenge, singer, songwriter, guitarist Trevor Finlay stays committed to expanding his fan base by continually performing, recording and songwriting.  Having other artists record a songwriter's songs is another great opportunity for exposure and Trevor Finlay has achieved that.  Having relocated in Nashville in 2008, known as the Songwriting Capital of the World, Finlay has been spending most of his time writing for his new U.S. debut album as well as writing to order with veterans such as Walt Aldridge (Ricky Van Shelton), Leslie Satcher (George Strait, Kelly Pickler), Tom Kimmel (Stray Cats), fellow Canadian tune smith Patricia Conroy, to name a few.

Not only has his talent as a songwriter been recognized through various songwriting competitions including the International Songwriting Competition where he placed semi-finalist and finalist various years in a row, most recently, his songs we're spread across the world being recorded by artists including world-renowned duo Canadian natives Paul Deslauriers & Dawn Tyler Watson, ACMA nominated rising start Sarah Beth Keeley, international performer Swiss artist Fabian Anderhub to name a few.  

As a Canadian newspaper article predicted back in 2010:  "... chances are we'll soon see Finlay's name alongside the above-mentioned veterans on new records straight outta Nashville."   Perhaps they should have said,  “from around the world”.
