ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
David Simmons is an Orlando native who, after graduating from the University of Florida, moved to Los Angeles in the summer of 1997. After surviving the initial culture shock, he settled into the actor's life and was introduced to Alex Albrecht of current Diggnation fame. Hitting it off as fast friends of humor, they went on to form The Misfit Toys Comedy Improv Troupe, which ran for three years. In 2004, David returned to Florida and continued his studies both in front of and behind the camera, the culmination of which has led to Smithereen, which he is now excited to present to you.
