BTC Electronic Components’ Line of EN2997 Y & YE hermetic receptacles earn ASDCERT recertification

PRLog (Press Release) - Jan. 25, 2012 - Connector distributor BTC Electronic Components (BTC - Wake Forest, NC) announced that its offering of EN2997 Y and YE hermetically sealed receptacles has been recertified by ASD-CERT. As a unit of Ametek/HCC Interconnect Technologies, Sealtron manufactures these components and successfully completed the required steps mandated by ASD-CERT.

Founded in 1990, ASD-CERT is an association affiliated with ASD with the purpose to qualify standard aerospace products in accordance with the requirements of EN 9133 ''Quality Management Systems - Qualification Procedure for Aerospace Standard Part'' (formerly EN 3042). The association is a ''third party'' non-profit organization and has no commercial interest.
